On front bearing HK QV 10c ultramarine in pair, tied by 'HONG KONG/19.1.02' cds and overstruck by very neat Foochow 'I.P.O' cancel in black. alongside bilingual 'PAGODAANCH/16.1.02' transit. A small tear effecting this cancel. On reverse, bearing CIP Coiling Dragon 20c tied by 'FOOCHOW' Dollar chop x 2, dated '16 Jan 08' and '19 Jan 08'. adjacent with the rarest bilingual 'FOOCHOWARSENAL/16.1.08' ( 福州船政 ) cds in violet. with 'POSTS RESTAN/24.2.02' French ship cancel, and illegible France arrival cds, a few toned spots and a few tears at the top.
