A Postage Due cover from Mongolia to Tientsin, on reverse bearing Mongolia 5m and 10m in pair, both tied by very neat double ring ‘ULANBATOR’ cds, bilingual faint ‘HARBIN’ transit, on front with ROC Postage Due 10c in pair, tied by bilingual ‘TIENTSIN’ cds and ‘ULANBATOR’ cds, a few dirt marks. On reverse bearing Mongolia 20mm rose red and 40m grey black (Sc67, 69) tied by illegible ‘ULANBATOR’ cds in violet, ‘MOSCOW/31.10.35’ transit and ‘NOSCOW/1.11.35’ arrival cds. Fine. 1617 1930’s A small range of the air mail commercial covers x 4, each bearing different Thailand issues, including air mail stamps, all sent to France, mixed condition. Royal Mail, an envelope which has small portion of top right corner torn away, with beautiful seal of King Chulalongkorn on reverse, sent to Colonel Carlos Villalonga Y Franco, Grade De Hallwbardiers, with official letter, a seal of King at top and his red cachet, appointing him ‘Commander III, signed ‘Siamin’ (the King’s short name) accompanied by official translation with embossed Arms of the King at the top.
